Position Summary
The Plant Foreman supports daily operations at Concast’s Arizona precast concrete manufacturing facility. This is a working leadership role responsible for helping direct production employees, supporting workflow, reinforcing safety and quality expectations, and stepping in on the floor when needed.
This role is a strong fit for a practical, hands-on leader who values both people and production.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Support
- Train, support, and guide production team members
- Provide daily direction and clear expectations
- Coach employees on safe, efficient, and quality-focused work habits
- Lead by example and support a positive team culture
Production Operations
- Support daily production schedules and output goals
- Coordinate work assignments and staffing needs
- Troubleshoot floor-level issues to keep work moving
- Step into production tasks when needed to assist, cover, or train
- Partner with leadership and maintenance to reduce downtime
Quality & Safety
- Reinforce PPE use, safe work practices, and housekeeping standards
- Monitor product quality and address concerns quickly
- Help ensure employees understand and follow company standards
- Communicate production, safety, or equipment concerns to leadership
Continuous Improvement
- Identify ways to improve workflow, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
- Track and communicate production progress and daily issues
- Support process improvements within the facility
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Manufacturing, production, construction materials, concrete, or heavy industrial experience
- Previous experience leading, training, or directing production employees
- Hands-on leadership style with willingness to work alongside the team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Preferred but not required
- 3+ years of manufacturing or production leadership experience
- Experience in precast concrete, construction materials, or heavy manufacturing
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Move throughout the production facility regularly
- Stand, walk, bend, and move as needed throughout the shift
- Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Work around production equipment, materials, and active manufacturing operations
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak production needs
Pay & Benefits
Pay: $33.00-$35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
