  • Modernization & Maintenance: Develop and manage process to update or retire policies to reflect changing business, legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Change Management: Develop communication strategies to ensure employees at all levels understand policies applicable to them and how to follow them.

  • Risk Mitigation: Identify "policy gaps" that could expose the company to legal, financial, or reputational damage and draft proactive solutions.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in Law, Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field. An advanced degree (JD, MBA, or Master's degree) preferred.

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in a corporate environment in the areas of Corporate Governance, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Ethics & Compliance, or a related discipline, including significant experience developing, implementing, or managing corporate policies and governance frameworks.

  • Policy & Governance Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional policy initiatives, interpret complex regulatory or business requirements, and translate them into practical, employee-friendly guidance.

  • Strategic Partnership: Ability to influence and advise senior leaders on policy, governance, compliance, and risk-related matters while balancing business objectives and organizational needs.

  • Communication & Change Management: Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience driving policy awareness, adoption, and organizational change.

  • Systems & Process Management: Experience with policy management, governance, compliance, or HR systems and tools.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Strong learning agility and ability to adapt in a fast-moving, changing environment.

  • Project Management experience and/or exceptional organizational skills.

  • Ability to build strong relationships across business units and functions.
