The Healthcare General Manager Mexico is responsible for reaching commercial and business targets in a high-revenue generating country, driving a coherent commercial strategy and the actions needed to meet market demands. This leader is responsible for integrating all commercial teams, functions, products, and services to optimize the use of resources, elevate customer experience, and deliver business objectives.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the country commercial strategy, defining the go-to-market (GTM) model, deploying resources, enabling the sales force, and managing indirect channel partners, with a focus on decisions that maximize sustainable growth
- Own GE HealthCare customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact in the Mexican market across all modalities, regions, services, and functions, driving sustainable commercial growth and coordinated customer experience for Imaging, Ultrasound, LCS, One Digital, and Services
- Drive operating mechanisms, ensuring alignment and coordination across all functions and areas with direct and indirect impact on regional activities
- Ensure a One GE HealthCare approach in multimodality projects and cross-P&L business events, with full accountability for issue resolution
- In close collaboration with product and marketing teams, identify and drive boundaryless selling opportunities; promote service offerings and identify/escalate commercial service needs
- Manage effectively within a matrix organization to optimize coordination and utilization of company, regional, and country resources
- Participate in the development of the annual budget and execute actions to deliver the operating plan
- Develop and implement an account management strategy for Mexico; set clear sales targets for Account Executives and/or Account Managers within the country
- Attract, retain, and develop world-class commercial talent
- Foster effective communication and build trust-based collaboration across teams
- Analyze market dynamics and competitive landscape to identify business opportunities in Mexico
- Provide continuous feedback to management, modalities, marketing, and support functions
- Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and manage relationships with government entities and administrative bodies
- Ensure adherence to GE HealthCare policies, procedures, and operating mechanisms, including strong compliance and integrity standards
- Support digital transformation through implementation and consistent use of business planning and forecasting tools
- Represent GE HealthCare in local industry associations and institutions, contributing to the development of governance, policies, and standards
- Act as the primary accountable leader for the Mexico zone, including serving as the statutory representative of local legal entities
- Drive horizontal alignment of the zone with GE HealthCare global priorities
- Represent GE HealthCare as Statutory Director (as applicable under Mexican regulations), ensuring full accountability for country operations
