Work Flexibility: Hybrid
This is a fixed-term contract position for 18 months
As a Buyer, you will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, maintaining inventory availability, and driving operational excellence across a global supply chain environment. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with multiple business functions while making a direct impact on customer service and manufacturing performance.
What You Will Do
- Manage purchasing activities for an assigned portfolio to maintain material availability and support customer service targets.
- Place purchase orders and maintain accurate order and delivery dates within the enterprise resource planning system.
- Monitor inventory receipts and proactively resolve supply issues to ensure on-time material availability.
- Analyze material requirements and adjust purchasing plans based on supply planning reviews and changing demand.
- Collaborate with suppliers to understand planning and capacity processes and align supply with business requirements.
- Expedite or defer orders as needed to balance material availability while supporting inventory targets.
- Generate and communicate purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance metrics to key stakeholders.
- Partner with Supply Planning, Sourcing, Engineering, Customer Service, Transportation, and Distribution teams to support business initiatives and continuous process improvements.
What You Will Need
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a material requirements planning (MRP) environment.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Preferred
- Experience working with SAP.
- Professional certification in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting supplier performance management and inventory optimization activities.
Poland Pay Ranges:
- Poland: zł101.300 - zł169.000 PLN Annual
