Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Route Patrol Driver in Research Triangle Park, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the property, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and assist visitors with directions and general information.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
