We are seeking a Research Engineer to support the NRFI project A New Intrinsic-Aware Visual Generation Paradigm. The successful candidate will develop practical learning-based systems for generative 3D/4D scene modelling, world models, and embodied intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement machine-learning methods for generative 3D/4D scene representations, world models, and embodied AI.
Build scalable data, training, and evaluation pipelines using PyTorch and related scientific-computing tools.
Design and conduct experiments for geometric consistency, temporal dynamics, physical plausibility, and downstream embodied tasks.
Integrate and evaluate research prototypes in simulation and, where relevant, on robotic platforms.
Document methods and results, and contribute to technical reports, research publications, and project deliverables.
Job Requirements:
A Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong foundations in machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and at least one of 3D/4D vision, reinforcement learning, or robotics.
Proficiency in Python and PyTorch; experience with C++, ROS, Isaac Gym, or related robotics and simulation tools is advantageous.
Practical experience developing and evaluating research systems, including data pipelines, model training, ablation studies, and reproducible experiments.
Experience in embodied AI, world models, robot learning, humanoid control, sim-to-real transfer, or generative 3D/4D modelling is desirable.
Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and learn new methods quickly.
We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
