West Balkan Warehouse Manager (Maternity leave cover)

Overview

This role is responsible for ensuring optimal inventory management, efficient warehouse processes, and alignment with corporate logistics and supply chain strategies. It oversee warehouse operations across multiple locations within a designated region

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, proper stock tracking, and collaboration with supply planning teams.
• Lead, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse staff while setting clear KPIs and performance expectations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards while driving a strong safety culture across the warehouse.
• Monitor order fulfillment, inventory quality, and operational performance, implementing corrective actions to reduce errors and improve customer satisfaction.
• Oversee warehouse facilities, equipment maintenance, vendor management, and cost control initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
• Leverage WMS/ERP systems and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) to enhance productivity, accuracy, and overall warehouse performance.

Qualifications

 

 

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 
• 7+ years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, with at least 3 years in a multi-site or regional leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and lean logistics practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams across different locations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
