Our client is a fast-growing manufacturer and distributor of fluid handling and HVAC products looking for an Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow distribution relationships throughout Tennessee. The focus is on expanding the territory, developing new distributor accounts, and increasing product penetration within existing accounts.
What You’ll Do
Our client is a fast-growing manufacturer and distributor of fluid handling and HVAC products looking for an Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow distribution relationships throughout Tennessee. The focus is on expanding the territory, developing new distributor accounts, and increasing product penetration within existing accounts.
What You’ll Do
- Drive sales growth throughout Tennessee through daily field activity
- Develop new distributor accounts and expand existing relationships
- Visit distributor locations to provide support, training, and sales strategy
- Develop joint business plans and sales initiatives with distributors
- Identify and support end-user opportunities
- Expand product adoption and share of wallet within existing accounts
- Prepare quotes and proposals and negotiate pricing
- Maintain CRM activity, sales pipeline, and performance reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer needs
- 5+ years of outside sales experience
- Strong new business development experience
- Plumbing experience preferred
- Waterworks, PVF/industrial, or irrigation experience also considered
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and organized
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred
