Job Description
We are looking for a Technology Assurance and Governance Lead to support UOBAM's technology transformation from on-premises infrastructure to Google Cloud. The successful candidate will lead technology risk assessments, cloud risk governance, control advisory, and regulatory compliance activities to ensure secure and resilient cloud adoption across the organization.

About the Department
UOBAM Technology provides software and system development as well as information technology support services. The team is driving a strategic transformation from traditional on-premises platforms to Google Cloud, delivering a secure, scalable, and modern technology environment across the region.
We have centralized and standardized the technology components into Singapore, creating a global footprint which can be utilized for supporting our regional subsidiaries and the branches around the world. We operate and support 8 countries with this architecture to provide a secure and flexible Asset Management infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the Technology Assurance and Governance lead supporting the migration of applications, infrastructure, and data from on-premises environments to Google Cloud.
- Perform technology and cloud risk assessments throughout the project lifecycle and identify risks, control gaps, and remediation actions.
- Review cloud architectures and solution designs to ensure alignment with security, resilience, regulatory, and risk management requirements.
- Partner with technology, cybersecurity, architecture, data, and business teams to embed risk management into transformation initiatives.
- Assess third-party and cloud service provider risks, including due diligence reviews and ongoing monitoring activities.
- Support governance forums, technology risk committees, and management reporting for cloud transformation programs.
- Ensure compliance with MAS TRM Guidelines, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and internal policies and standards.
- Drive risk treatment plans and track remediation activities through closure.
- Develop and maintain technology assurance frameworks, standards, procedures, and assessment methodologies for cloud environments.
- Monitor technology risk trends, cloud threats, and regulatory developments, providing timely recommendations to stakeholders.
- Lead targeted risk initiatives and other ad-hoc assignments requested by management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience in Technology Risk, Information Security, IT Audit, or related risk management functions, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Hands-on experience supporting cloud transformation programs and strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud operating models.
- Strong knowledge of technology risk management, control frameworks, threat modelling, and security assurance and governance assessment methodologies.
- Experience reviewing cloud architecture, infrastructure, identity and access management, data protection, resilience, and operational controls.
- Good understanding of MAS TRM, MAS Cyber Hygiene, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, and related regulatory requirements.
- Ability to communicate complex technical and risk concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience engaging senior management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing capabilities.
- Professional certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISSP, CCSP, CISA, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or equivalent are preferred.
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to drive initiatives independently in a fast-paced environment.
