Senior Capture Manager - Intelligence Sector

Leidos Intelligence Sector is seeking an accomplished Senior Capture Manager to lead high-value strategic pursuits across the Intelligence Community and Department of War, primarily focused on opportunities greater than $100M.

 

You will join a Cyber & Analytics organization on a double-digit growth trajectory that is a major pillar of Leidos' corporate growth strategy. Our customers include MPO and other core Intelligence Community agencies, U.S. Cyber Command and Service Cyber Components, and DARPA. Our business is anchored in mission-focused professional services, complemented by an emerging product and technology portfolio spanning full-spectrum cyber—offensive and defensive—and big data analytics, including SIGINT, AI and quantum technologies.

 

We are looking for proven Capture professionals who know how to turn qualified opportunities into differentiated executable strategies to win. Working alongside Account Managers, Business Development leads, line/mission leaders and technical experts, you will build the customer, mission and competitive understanding required for each pursuit—and orchestrate the full Leidos team from capture strategy through proposal and award.

 

What You'll Do

Own the pursuit. Lead the capture plan, strategy and execution for large, complex opportunities, establishing the path to win, managing pursuit risks and driving the team from qualified pursuit through proposal and award.

Build the customer and competitive picture. Work with Account Managers, BD leads and mission leaders to understand the customer, mission, acquisition environment, decision drivers and competition—and continually refine the strategy as you learn.

Develop the strategy to win. Translate customer and competitive insight into differentiated win themes, discriminators, solution priorities, teaming strategy and an executable capture plan.

Orchestrate the team. Build and lead the cross-functional capture team, securing the resources required and driving the decisions, reviews, focus, pace and accountability needed to win.

Shape a compelling solution. Partner with mission and technical leaders to ensure the solution addresses the customer's real mission challenges and brings the best of Leidos' services, technologies, products and partners to the pursuit.

Build the right business position. Lead teaming and partner strategy and work with Pricing, Contracts and Finance to develop a competitive, executable business and pricing approach.

Convert strategy into a winning proposal. Partner with Proposal leadership to ensure customer insight, win strategy, discriminators and solution are carried consistently from Capture through the final offer.

 

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 13+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated success leading and winning large, complex Federal pursuits, including programs greater than $50M TCV.
• Strong capture tradecraft across strategy development, customer and competitive assessment, solutioning, teaming, pricing and proposal execution.
• Experience leading diverse, cross-functional teams through high-stakes pursuits within the Intelligence Community and/or Department of War.
• Ability to rapidly synthesize customer, mission, competitive and acquisition insight into a clear and actionable strategy to win.
• Strong leadership presence and ability to create alignment, accountability and momentum across teams without relying on direct authority.
• Exceptional executive, written and oral communication skills.
• Eligibility for a Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Existing customer and mission understanding within one or more of our target markets: MPO/core Intelligence Community agencies, U.S. Cyber Command/Service Cyber Components, or DARPA.
• Capture experience across professional services and technology-enabled mission solutions.
• Experience in full-spectrum cyber, SIGINT/big data analytics, AI, quantum or adjacent mission areas.
• Experience developing and negotiating complex teaming arrangements and competitive pricing strategies.
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph, or active TS with ability to obtain SCI/polygraph.

 

Work Location & Travel

• Maryland-based, with hybrid work available. Travel is primarily within the National Capital Region.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $154,050.00 - $278,475.00
