About the position:

We are seeking a skilled IT System Support Analyst to join our dynamic team. The IT System Support Analyst role involves providing technical support and troubleshooting for internally developed software applications and vendor software products. Responsibilities include managing software configuration, testing and deployment. The position also collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve software issues and implement updates or patches.

Key responsibilities:

• Strong proficiency in Documentum D2 development is essential. 
• Solid understanding of Documentum Core Fundamentals is required. 
• Experience with DFC development is advantageous but not mandatory. 
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure is expected. 
• Prior experience working in an Agile environment is preferred. 
• Ideal candidates will have 3–6 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Understanding of architectural styles, software design patterns, and engineering best practices, including: SOLID principles, MVC, REST, N-layered architecture, SOA, Modular Monolith, Microservices, Event‑Driven Architectures, DDD, asynchronous and parallel programming. 
•  Foundational computer science knowledge. 
• Experience with relational data modeling and database schema design. 
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including Git and version control systems. 
•  Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment processes. 
• Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Teamwork & Communication :

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross‑functional environments and validate business-aligned requirements. 
• Demonstrates leadership in guiding product design, architecture decisions, and adherence to engineering standards. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work seamlessly across time zones. 
• Maintains awareness of industry trends and contributes to team capability development. 

Business Acumen:

• Understanding of Concurrent Engineering and Management of Change processes. 
• Ability to quickly grasp business domains, data flows, workflows, and operational processes. 
• Experience translating business objectives into effective technical solutions. 

Chevron ENGINE supports global operations, supporting business requirements across the world. Accordingly, the work hours for employees will be aligned to support business requirements. The standard work week will be Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm or 1.30pm to 10.30pm.
