Job Title: Warehouse Operator, 1st Shift
Location: Germantown, WI
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, storage, handling, movement, and shipment of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. The role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains compliance with safety and quality standards, and supports overall warehouse operations to meet customer and production requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against shipping documentation.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Pick, stage, load, and ship customer orders according to established procedures.
- Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation activities.
- Ensure products are stored according to FIFO, quality status, and designated storage requirements.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards.
- Follow all GMP, food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Complete required documentation and system transactions accurately and on time.
- Assist with investigations of inventory discrepancies and stock variances.
- Support continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

You Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Basic computer and inventory management system skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to work in varying temperature environments as required.
- Ability to safely maneuver materials and equipment throughout the warehouse.
The salary scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. The hourly pay rate is $24.00.
