Yoder Chevrolet is looking for an experienced Parts Counterperson to join our Parts team in Fort Lupton.

This isn't simply a job pulling parts off a shelf. Our Parts Counterperson is an important connection between our customers, technicians, and the rest of the dealership. You'll help keep repairs moving, solve problems, find the right parts, and deliver the kind of service that keeps customers coming back.

What You'll Do

As a Parts Counterperson, you'll work directly with customers and our Service team to identify, locate, order, and sell the right parts while providing excellent service and accurate information.

You'll be someone our technicians and customers can count on to keep things moving.

Your Day May Include:

• Assisting customers and technicians in identifying and selecting the correct parts.
• Providing accurate pricing, availability, and estimated delivery information.
• Pulling parts from inventory and ordering parts that are not currently in stock.
• Supporting technicians with parts questions and helping keep repair work moving efficiently.
• Building strong relationships with retail, wholesale, and internal customers.
• Answering incoming calls and responding to parts inquiries and quote requests.
• Recommending complementary products, available specials, warranty options, and cost-effective alternatives when appropriate.
• Supporting outside sales representatives with order fulfillment as needed.
• Monitoring will-call and back-order items and following through to ensure parts don't get lost in the process.
• Maintaining accurate customer, vehicle, inventory, and transaction records.
• Processing payments and parts-related paperwork accurately and completely.
• Communicating proactively with customers when availability, pricing, or expected delivery times change.
• Contributing to a positive, accountable, team-oriented Parts Department.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of dealership parts experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet Company driving/insurance requirements.
• Experience working with a dealer management system.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and stay organized in a busy dealership environment.
• A team-first attitude and willingness to jump in where needed..
