Elementary School Nurse | New Jersey Licensed | Paterson, New Jersey | $45 — $55/hour | Long Term Contract
$45 to $55 an hour, health, dental and vision insurance available, a long term contract that gives you stability and a principal who is known for genuinely respecting and supporting their staff. Two positions are available.
Children cannot learn when they are sick, scared or in pain. An elementary school in Paterson, New Jersey needs a School Nurse who understands that the health office is not just a place students go when something is wrong. It is where they feel safe, seen and taken care of so they can go back to being kids. This school is looking for someone who brings that same energy every single day.
You will provide direct nursing care, manage chronic and acute health conditions, administer medications, develop individualized healthcare plans, conduct required health screenings and serve as the primary health and safety resource for students, families and school staff across the full school year.
What you need to bring:
- Current New Jersey School Nurse license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current CPR certification
- Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans
- Experience supporting students with chronic medical conditions, disabilities and allergies.
