Sr. Lead Associate - Actuarial

Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of actuarial tasks, including pricing, reserving, financial reporting, cash flow testing, and other actuarial modeling activities.
- Perform detailed actuarial analysis and develop creative solutions tailored to client needs.
- Develop and maintain actuarial models to assess the financial implications of life insurance and annuity products.
- Manage client engagement projects, ensuring all deliverables are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client projects, maintaining strong relationships and providing ongoing support of their unique needs.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilize actuarial software and tools to perform detailed analyses and develop accurate models.
- Work closely with project team members to ensure the technical accuracy and integrity of analyses, templates, and exhibits.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, underwriting, and product development, to achieve client objectives.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field and/or possess a combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Life & Health insurance actuarial work and Moody’s Axis.
- Progress towards actuarial credentials (SOA, etc.)
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Strong time management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and of the highest quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- Possess the ability to effectively communicate complex actuarial concepts to clients and team members.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
