Description
- Conduct comprehensive preoperative and postoperative patient assessments.
- Provide patient education regarding surgical procedures, recovery expectations, medications, and postoperative care.
- Triage patient phone calls, portal messages, and clinical concerns.
- Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and administrative staff to coordinate patient care.
- Obtain and document patient vital signs at every clinical appointment.
- Collect blood specimens for laboratory testing as ordered by the physician.
- Prepare, label, and process laboratory specimens in accordance with established protocols.
- Review medical records, laboratory results, imaging, and physician documentation.
- Coordinate referrals, clearances, and communication with outside providers.
- Document patient interactions accurately and thoroughly.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Previous experience with instrument sterilization and autoclave operation is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
- BLS certified
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in women's health, gynecology, surgery, or perioperative nursing.
- Has a genuine passion for patient advocacy.

- Tuesday - Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.
