The City of Gunnison is seeking a dependable and motivated Zamboni Driver to join our Parks and Recreation team at the Ice Rink. This is a hands on position for someone who enjoys working with equipment, maintaining facilities, and taking pride in creating a safe, high quality experience for the community. You will operate the Zamboni and other specialized equipment, maintain smooth and consistent ice surfaces, monitor rink conditions, perform routine equipment and facility maintenance, and help prepare the rink for hockey games, figure skating, public skating, tournaments, and special events. If you enjoy working independently, solving problems, and seeing the results of your work, this is a great opportunity to become an important part of the City's recreation team.

The ideal candidate has experience operating powered equipment and performing facility, building, or grounds maintenance, along with a strong commitment to safety and customer service. You should be comfortable working in cold environments, using hand and power tools, performing physically demanding work, and working early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as rink activities require. A high school diploma or GED and a valid Colorado driver's license are required. Join the City of Gunnison and help keep one of our community's most active recreational facilities safe, welcoming, and ready for the next skate.
