Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer service-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team at Clinics Staffing. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the front desk operations and providing administrative support to our medical staff. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our patients receive the best possible service and have a positive experience at our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient information and insurance details
- Collect payments and issue receipts
- Maintain patient records and update them as needed
- Communicate with medical staff regarding patient needs and concerns
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and emails
- Monitor and order office supplies
- Ensure the waiting area and front desk are kept clean and organized
- Adhere to all medical confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role is preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is a plus
- Must be able to work full-time and have a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed
