Sr. Manager, Accounting

Key Responsibilities

• Own the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger related to Payroll, AP, and AR in Oracle Fusion, including review of recurring and non-standard journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and timely resolution of posting and configuration issues.

• Partner with cross-functional and international teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accurate accounting across legal entities.

• Prepare account fluctuation analyses, investigate significant variances, and provide insights into key balance sheet and P&L movements.

• Partner with Technical Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Procurement, IT, and other stakeholders to assess accounting implications of new arrangements, contracts, systems, and business initiatives.

• Identify repetitive, rules-based activities and lead efforts to automate or eliminate them through technology, including AI-enabled solutions, in partnership with IT and other stakeholders.

• Establish and maintain effective accounting processes, controls, and documentation that support audit readiness, knowledge transfer, scalability, and operational consistency.

• Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize accounting processes, improve close efficiency, and strengthen overall operational performance.

• Lead, develop, and mentor accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a complex, global organization.

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, accounting operations, and internal controls.

• Experience leading accounting teams and cross-functional initiatives.

• Experience with Oracle Fusion or a comparable ERP system.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.

• Positive, collaborative, and adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. CA generally ranges: $155,161-$232,740 All other locations fall under our General State range: $136,106-$204,158 Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Cloud Software Group and the country where you work. U.S. based employees are typically offered access to healthcare, life insurance and disability benefits, 401(k) plan and company match, among others.
