information, the effectiveness of internal controls and the timely completion of regulatory and financial
reporting obligations as you build the team and processes required to operate as a public company.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
- Lead corporate accounting, consolidation and the monthly, quarterly and annual close, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and management reporting is accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Own accounting policies and the evaluation, documentation and disclosure of complex or nonroutine transactions, with working knowledge of cross-border requirements.
- Lead quarterly and annual company reporting, including financial statements, management discussion and analysis, earnings materials, compliance and disclosure filings, as applicable.
- Lead public company readiness program to achieve and maintain effective internal and disclosure controls, including risk assessment, documentation, testing coordination, deficiency evaluation and remediation.
- Serve as the primary management contact for external auditors and coordinate tax professionals and specialized advisors on cross-border corporate tax, payroll tax, transfer pricing and SR&ED matters.
- Provide accounting leadership for complex equity structures, stock-based compensation, financings, convertible instruments, warrants and other capital transactions.
- Manage banking relationships and oversee liquidity, cash management, cost accounting, inventory valuation, financial systems and related controls.
- Build, mentor and retain a high-performing accounting and controllership team, and act as a trusted advisor to the CFO, executive leadership and Audit Committee.
WHAT YOU BRING TO OUR TEAM
- CPA, Chartered Professional Accountant, or equivalent recognized professional accounting designation.
- Approximately 15 or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including significant senior leadership and audit experience.
- Technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, including public company reporting, complex accounting matters and SEC reporting requirements.
- Working knowledge of IFRS and key differences from U.S. GAAP relevant to multinational operations, capital markets and cross-border reporting.
- Strong knowledge of SOX, disclosure controls and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent executive communication, judgment, project leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience with ERP implementation and finance transformation.
- Experience in a technology, manufacturing or operationally complex environment is preferred.
