We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Executive, Marine Fuels to join our London-based team and play a key role in expanding our customer portfolio and driving commercial growth across the marine sector.

The Opportunity
As a Senior Sales Executive, Marine Fuels, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while growing and strengthening relationships with existing strategic customers. You'll work closely with commercial, supply, credit, and operations teams to deliver value-added solutions and support continued growth across the business.
The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, industry knowledge, and relationship-building skills with a proven track record of driving revenue growth within the marine fuels sector.
What You'll Do
Business Development
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the marine and shipping industry.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Build relationships with ship owners, operators, charterers, and fuel procurement decision-makers.
- Generate new sales opportunities through networking, industry contacts, market intelligence, and customer referrals.
Account Management
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for customer requests and commercial discussions.
- Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities for growth.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while ensuring customer needs are met efficiently and professionally.
- Support the resolution of claims and commercial issues while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Commercial & Market Management
- Monitor customer credit utilization and exposure in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong understanding of marine fuel market trends, pricing dynamics, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with supply, operations, and finance teams to support customer requirements and business objectives.
- Contribute market insights and customer feedback to support commercial decision-making.
Strategic Projects & Team Support
- Participate in business improvement initiatives, including reporting enhancements, technology projects, renewable fuel initiatives, and business development activities.
- Share expertise and support the development of junior team members.
- Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within marine fuels, bunkering, marine energy, or a related shipping commercial environment.
- Demonstrated success in developing new business and growing customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of the marine fuel market and bunker supply chain.
- Experience managing commercial negotiations and customer portfolios.
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in Business, Maritime Studies, Shipping, Economics, or a related field.
- Additional language skills are highly desirable.
- Established network of contacts within the marine, shipping, and bunker industries.

Location & Travel
This position is based in London with a hybrid working arrangement of 2 days per week in the office and 3 days remote. Occasional travel within Europe and attendance at industry events will be required.
