The Quality Assurance and Training Leader is responsible for creating, executing, and managing extensive quality and training programs that enable employees to achieve their highest potential. The Quality Assurance and Training Leader will be responsible for developing knowledge bases, leading employee development initiatives, maintaining and regularly updating a comprehensive training database, and ensuring the continuous enhancement of skills and competencies throughout the organization. This role demands a strategic thinker with outstanding quality and training expertise, robust knowledge management abilities, and a strong commitment to promoting leadership at all levels.

This is a non-remote position requiring being on-site Monday through Friday.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of QA technicians, providing guidance, support, and training.
- Oversee team performance, conduct performance reviews, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive, collaborative work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and teamwork within the QA department.
Quality Assurance Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement QA strategies, plans, and test processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Development, Product, and Operations) to define quality standards and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Create and manage test schedules, ensuring timely and efficient testing of all product releases.
Test Management:
- Oversee the creation and execution of manual and automated test plans, test cases, and scripts.
- Ensure the thorough testing of all products and systems across multiple platforms and environments.
- Identify, report, and track defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with development teams to identify areas for improvement in the product.
- Act as a liaison between the QA team and other departments, ensuring clear communication regarding issues, and resolutions.
- Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on overall quality and results.
Process Improvement & Best Practices:
- Continuously review and improve the QA processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and tools to improve QA.
Risk Management:
- Analyze results to identify potential risks and issues.
- Develop strategies to mitigate risk.
Training & Development:
- Provide ongoing training to QA team members on new tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Encourage professional development within the team, helping individuals grow their skills and advance in their careers.
- Design and deliver effective training programs to meet organizational needs, including technical, operational, and soft skills training.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and align training programs with business objectives.
- Develop engaging content using a variety of learning formats, such as e-learning, workshops, and on-the-job training.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, and implement improvements.
Knowledge Management
- Create and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to ensure easy access to critical information and resources for employees.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to document processes, best practices, and FAQs.
- Regularly update and refine knowledge base content to reflect changes in policies, procedures, and industry trends.
- Promote the use of knowledge management tools to enhance employee productivity and learning.
Employee Development
- Design and implement employee development programs to ensure success in their role.
- Identify high-potential employees and create tailored development plans to prepare them for future leadership roles.
- Provide guidance and support to leaders to help them foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within their teams.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Stay updated on training trends, tools, and methodologies to enhance the company’s learning and development offerings.
- Manage training budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient program delivery.
- Lead and inspire a team of training coordinators, instructional designers, or facilitators, if applicable.
