Pricing Engineer, Pricing and Cost Modeling

Are you ready for the next step in your career? We are looking for a Pricing Engineer, Pricing and Cost Modeling. You will utilize cost models for pricing and cost scenario configuration, prepare internal budget splits for Global Supply scope, and work closely with international stakeholders. This is an opportunity to influence pricing accuracy, improve response times, and contribute to successful project delivery across Valmet locations. 

Your responsibilities 

• You will prepare pricing and cost scenarios for Global Supply product families based on sales inquiries and quotations. 

• You will develop cost offers from technical specifications, delivery scope, resource allocation, and customer requirements. 

• You will track quotation status, maintain records, and support cost analysis for won and lost projects. 

• You will prepare internal budget split documentation and support project budget handovers after order intake. 

• You will maintain and update cost models, COGS lists, material costs, and tool rates to ensure accurate pricing. 

Expectations for you 

• Bachelor degree in engineering, pulp and paper, project management, business, finance, or a related discipline. 

• At least 3 years of experience in pricing, cost analysis, or related fields. 

• Knowledge of paper machine equipment, processes, pricing, and product cost modeling. 

• Strong data processing and analysis skills using Microsoft tools. 

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
