About the Job
As a Diffusion Process Engineer, you will be responsible for sustaining and improving semiconductor diffusion manufacturing processes, driving yield enhancement, process capability improvement, and technology development initiatives. You will utilize data-driven methodologies to optimize manufacturing performance and support new technology implementation.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to operational excellence and next-generation semiconductor process development.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, optimize, and develop diffusion manufacturing processes.
- Drive process capability improvement and achieve SPC/Cpk targets.
- Design and execute DOE experiments and statistical analyses.
- Lead process excursion investigations and wafer failure analysis.
- Develop and implement yield improvement initiatives.
- Lead process optimization and cost reduction projects.
- Maintain process documentation, FMEA, SOPs, and Control Plans.
- Support capacity expansion and manufacturing excellence programs.
- Train technicians and operators on process best practices.
About You
You are an analytical and hands-on process engineer with a passion for semiconductor manufacturing and continuous improvement. You enjoy using engineering principles and statistical methods to optimize process performance and solve complex production challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of semiconductor wafer fabrication experience.
- Knowledge of diffusion, oxidation, doping, and related semiconductor fabrication processes.
- Strong understanding of DOE, SPC, and process control methodologies.
- Experience in yield improvement, root cause analysis, and process optimization.
- Good English reading and writing skills.
- Knowledge of quality systems and customer audit requirements.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Six Sigma certification is a plus.
