Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Management in San Lorenzo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide visible presence, communicate clearly, and report security-related concerns while helping to deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access badges, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle entry records.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the facility perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and access-control exceptions in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
