Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Epic Training Manager who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As an Epic Training Manager, you will:
• Leads the organizational training-readiness program for Epic implementation, upgrades, optimization, go-live planning, stabilization, and ongoing education, ensuring internal scope, readiness milestones, and timelines are achieved when Epic provides core end-user training.
• Serves as the primary liaison with Epic training representatives and internal project leadership; coordinates training plans, dependencies, schedules, materials, issue resolution, and status reporting.
• Oversees training logistics, including role mapping, enrollment, class scheduling, learner communications, Learning Management System, training environment readiness (facilities and equipment), attendance tracking, completion reporting, and escalation of access or scheduling barriers.
• Partners with operational leaders, clinical stakeholders, revenue cycle leaders, physician champions, subject matter experts, application teams, and technical teams to validate workflow alignment, learner populations, and organizational readiness.
• Directly supervises internal training coordination and end-user support staff, including work assignments, performance management, professional development, resource allocation, workload balancing, coaching, and hiring support.
• Manages Super User Lead (SUL) onboarding and engagement throughout the project; coordinates initial Epic training for SULs; and oversees day-in-the-life activities led by SULs to support end-user readiness.
• Coordinates local reinforcement, job aids, workflow communications, competency validation, and post-training support activities that complement Epic-provided training and address organization-specific needs.
• Monitors training completion, readiness metrics, user feedback, and adoption risks; identifies knowledge gaps and barriers; escalates issues; and leads continuous improvement of internal readiness and support processes.
• Maintains expertise in Epic training methodology, implementation practices, healthcare technology trends, change management, and organizational priorities.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education, healthcare administration, clinical informatics, information technology, nursing, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare training coordination, education operations, clinical operations, clinical informatics, electronic health record implementation, application support, or related healthcare technology experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of management experience preferred. Experience leading training coordination, education operations, end-user support, technical staff, or healthcare information technology initiatives is preferred.
• Epic training certification or proficiency preferred / Project Management Professional preferred
• Experience coordinating Epic-led training for implementations, go-lives, upgrades, optimization initiatives, and end-user readiness programs is preferred. Experience supporting integrated workflows across multiple Epic applications and using learning management systems is preferred

Work Schedule:

Employment Type: Full-time
Hours per Week: 40 hours/week
Typical Daily Schedule: 8 am-5 pm Monday through Friday 
Shift Type: Day Shift

Pay Range:

$50.80 - $76.20

If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.

Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), this position is classified as:
