Why This Role Matters:
The In-Force, Operational Expert role is responsible for assisting in strategic projects, collaborating with business units across the organization to support the In-Force department in cross-business project initiatives and retaining knowledge and proficiency in related areas of In-Force by performing job functions.
How You’ll Contribute:
- Champion projects to support In-Force by documenting and understanding project impacts to current processes and updating procedures accordingly
- Interpreting the impact of Product, Regulatory and Legal changes to departmentalize existing and new processes
- Consulting on project scope and documentation of non-MVP items on Product Releases or otherwise
- Review CODE Regulatory changes and interpret any impact on Operations
- Partnering with Compliance to ensure Operations is within standard and compliance
- Review Audit Narratives and Model Audit Rules to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Leading knowledge transfer between Product and Operations and interpreting the impact to Annuity Operations
- Facilitating contract corrections, corrective processing and complex processing
- Identifying root causes of operational issues and developing effective solutions
- Learning, retaining, and updating one's knowledge of a wide variety of financial product information and internal processes and procedures, while adhering to strict financial industry rules and regulations.
- Helping the Annuity Operations through change by planning, implementing and monitoring changes
- Consulting on Business Requirement Documents and contribute to User Acceptance Testing in coordination with cross-business areas
- Planning, executing and monitoring In-Force projects to achieve desired outcomes
- Lead process improvement initiatives and support project implementations
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of annuity experience is preferred
- Proven ability to communicate effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated expertise in relevant industry practices and standards
- Demonstrated ability to provide expert advice and guidance on complex operational issues
