About this position:
The Real Time Energy Scheduler is responsible for NorthWestern Energy's real time generation assets and executes scheduling opportunities in order to optimize NorthWestern Energy's real-time energy positions.

About this job:
- Buy and sell energy, transmission and capacity type products that are consistent with NorthWestern Energy's Risk Policies
- Perform load and generation forecasting, resource coordination, and resource optimization duties
- Manage and optimize Northwestern Energy generation and long-term contractual resources
- Scheduler will operate within the culture, risk tolerance and risk management policies of the company
- Scheduler will assist in the development of strategies and execute transactions in the real-time power markets
- Scheduler will present a competent, professional and consistent "face" of the company to counterparts
- Perform other Power Marketing functions as necessary
- 12 hour rotating shift work required
- Overtime required
