Job Summary

The Internal Logistics Coordinator I is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Main Warehouse and Warehouse Auxiliary, including receiving, inventory management, material issuance, and material movement activities. The role ensures accurate and timely processing of materials, maintains inventory integrity, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and complies with established quality, safety, and materials management procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving and Inbound Operations

  • Administer the receipt of incoming shipments and ensure completeness and accuracy of supporting documentation.
  • Perform warehouse inbound transactions including Purchase Order receiving, Confirm to Stock, Approve to Stock, Miscellaneous Receipt (MRTS), and put-away activities.
  • Accurately move and handle raw materials, piece parts, and work-in-process materials.
  • Generate discrepancy reports for shortages, overages, and damaged materials.
  • Maintain proper retention and filing of operational documents, certifications, invoices, and records.

Inventory Management

  • Perform cycle counts and inventory verification activities.
  • Maintain organized storage locations, labeling systems, and inventory visuals.
  • Preserve and protect inventory through proper storage and material handling practices.
  • Support investigation and resolution of inventory discrepancies related to quantities, locations, revisions, routings, and system transactions.
  • Process obsolete inventory transactions as required.

Material Issuance and Movement

  • Review, prepare, and issue materials for production, assembly, testing, shipment, and point-of-use replenishment.
  • Process work order and pack slip issuance activities, including work order splitting and scrap transactions.
  • Accurately move materials between warehouses, production areas, and buildings while ensuring proper system transactions.
  • Print and verify operation sheets, kit lists, blueprints, and related documentation.
  • Package work-in-process inventory and finished goods according to established standards.  

Equipment Operation

  • Operate warehouse and material handling equipment including:
    • Vertical and horizontal storage systems
    • Forklifts
    • Overhead cranes
    • Pallet trucks
    • Weighing scales
    • Wire cutting machines
    • Cleaning equipment
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities of warehouse equipment.  

Continuous Improvement and Compliance

  • Monitor and maintain warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in SQDCL reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kanban, Point-of-Use (POU), two-bin systems, visual controls, and other improvement activities.
  • Adhere to all standard work instructions, quality requirements, safety protocols, and material handling procedures.
  • Support internal and external audit preparations and process compliance reviews.  

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
