Client & Product Solutions Team Overview
The Client & Product Solutions (CPS) team leads the marketing and fundraising efforts for the firm's equity, credit, and real assets offerings. CPS serves as the connective tissue between Apollo's investment capabilities and the global investor community — spanning institutional, wealth, marketing, and product channels. Within CPS, our teams are responsible for driving fundraising strategy and business initiatives, managing investor relationships, developing and marketing investment products, drafting investor communications and thought leadership, and responding to inquiries across a diverse client base.
Position Overview
As a Summer Analyst in Client & Product Solutions at Apollo Global Management, you will gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of alternative asset management. This 10-week internship is designed for individuals eager to learn about the investment industry, develop client relationship, sales and business strategy skills, and contribute to Apollo's growth and success within a collaborative global team environment.
Interns will be placed into one of three teams within CPS: Global Wealth Management Solutions (GWMS) Sales, Institutional Client Group (ICG) Sales, or Product Management. Placement decisions will be made based on candidate background, interests, and business need.
TEAM PLACEMENTS & PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Across all CPS placements, interns will partner with both junior and senior level professionals on a range of projects that develop investment acumen, client relationship skills, and business judgment.
Global Wealth Management Solutions (GWMS) Sales
The GWMS Sales team is responsible for Apollo's private wealth fundraising and distribution efforts, partnering with clients & prospects across private banks and wirehouses, RIAs, broker-dealers, custodians, regional banks and tech platforms. As a GWMS Sales Summer Analyst, you will develop broad knowledge of the private wealth landscape, alternative investments, and Apollo's fund offerings while supporting the team's fundraising and client engagement efforts.
You'll partner with junior and senior level professionals on projects that range across the areas below:
- Provide support to GWMS sales professionals throughout their fundraising and prospecting efforts
- Support marketing efforts by helping the team with presentations, pitch materials, and handling ad-hoc requests
- Help maintain, update, and analyze client information using Salesforce CRM
- Generate reports and analyze sales data to track progress and identify areas for improvement; leverage a variety of tools to add value including Apollo Intelligence (AI)
- Support informational requests from the team, identifying sensitivities and potential issues
- Support ongoing project work driven by the GWMS COO and Strategy teams
- Develop broad knowledge of private wealth landscape, alternative investments, and Apollo's offerings
- Provide consolidated updates on industry trends, manager and strategy performance, and strategic M&A in Wealth market
- Develop knowledge across funds marketed in GWMS channel, and demonstrate presentation skills via frequent pitches (to internal team)
- Possess investment acumen and develop knowledge of Apollo's positioning, holdings, competitive edge and overall investment results across the capital structure
- Act as a consistent team player who collaborates effectively to further Apollo's strategic goals
Institutional Client Group (ICG) Sales
The ICG Sales team manages Apollo's relationships with institutional investors globally — including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, and insurance companies. As an ICG Sales Summer Analyst, you will gain experience in institutional distribution and client engagement, supporting efforts to deepen and expand Apollo's institutional investor base.
You'll have the opportunity to partner with both junior and senior level professionals on a range of projects, contributing to the team by:
- Supporting sales and product teams by preparing presentations, pitch materials, ad-hoc requests, and bespoke projects focused on strategy and sales
- Assisting with client communications, ensuring timely follow-up, and coordinating with Marketing and Communications to distribute thought leadership materials
- Customizing marketing content and talking points for investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows
- Coordinating group investor meetings and roadshows, ensuring smooth execution
- Compiling market data and incorporating research into investor presentations and marketing materials
- Writing and reviewing meeting memos, and assisting with preparation for client meetings and pitches
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date CRM records for potential fund launches and investor relationships (Salesforce)
- Generating reports and analyzing sales data to track progress, measure performance, and identify areas for improvement
- Developing investment acumen by building knowledge of Apollo's positioning, holdings, competitive strengths, and results across the capital structure
- Gaining exposure to strategic thinking processes and learning to communicate complex financial concepts simply and effectively
- Working collaboratively across Apollo teams, contributing to firm-wide goals and fostering a team-oriented culture
Product Management
The Product Management team is responsible for driving fundraising strategy and strategic business initiatives, drafting investor communications and thought leadership, and launching new products and initiatives. Successful product professionals combine people skills, project management, and commercial capabilities with strong technical knowledge of markets and investments.
You'll have the opportunity to partner with both junior and senior level professionals on a range of projects, contributing to the team by:
- Building product and market knowledge, learning to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively
- Drafting client facing collateral, including fund/investor presentations, white papers, quarterly reports, annual meeting decks, conference presentations, and meeting decks
- Partnering with senior Product Specialists to prepare custom talking points and materials for investor meetings and conferences
- Assisting senior executives with strategic business projects and firmwide initiatives
- Responding to investor inquiries and requests, such as ad-hoc client questions/analysis, DDQs, data templates, and investment updates
- Maintaining investment and performance data, tracking investor pipeline details, and contributing to reporting deliverables
- Supporting the development and distribution of marketing and investor communications with diverse stakeholders
- Analyzing large data sets to prepare tailored responses and compile regular reports
- Collaborating with sales and marketing professionals to help grow Apollo's products
- Conducting competitive landscape analysis to inform strategy and positioning
- Working closely with investment professionals, sales, finance, compliance, and legal teams to deepen understanding of alternative asset classes, fund structures, and investor objectives
- Handling sensitive information with integrity and discretion
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Pursuing a BA or BS (Class of 2028) in finance, business, economics, or a related field, from an undergraduate institution with a record of strong academic achievement
- Strong interest in the financial industry, particularly alternative asset management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude, eager to contribute to a collaborative and professional workplace culture
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand and convey complex financial concepts
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

PAY RANGE:
$90,000-$100,000
