Description
We are looking for motivated, personable, and organized individuals to join our team as Remote Travel Advisors. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, researching destinations, communicating with clients, and creating personalized travel experiences.
As a Remote Travel Advisor, you will work with clients to understand what they are looking for in their upcoming vacations and help turn those ideas into organized travel plans. You will research available options, provide recommendations, coordinate reservations, and serve as a point of contact throughout the planning process.
Travel Advisors may assist with a variety of experiences, including cruises, resort vacations, family getaways, romantic escapes, group travel, international destinations, and more. Each client has different needs, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working directly with people.
Previous travel-industry experience is not required. Training, resources, and ongoing support are provided to help you learn the booking process, supplier systems, destination information, and client-service procedures.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to learn about their travel interests, preferences, budgets, and goals
- Research destinations, accommodations, cruises, vacation packages, transportation, excursions, and activities
- Create and present personalized travel options based on client needs
- Coordinate reservations and verify booking information for accuracy
- Organize confirmations, schedules, and other important travel details
- Provide clients with destination and pre-departure information
- Maintain accurate client records using online systems and digital tools
- Communicate professionally through phone, email, text, and virtual platforms
- Follow up with clients throughout the planning process
- Assist with questions, changes, and additional requests when needed
- Stay informed about destinations, suppliers, promotions, and industry updates
- Build and maintain positive relationships that encourage repeat and referral business
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable researching information and comparing multiple options
- Ability to manage several client requests and deadlines
- Comfortable using computers, web-based platforms, and online communication tools
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Dependable, professional, and willing to take initiative
- Customer service, hospitality, administrative, sales, or related experience is helpful but not required
- Willingness to complete required training and continue developing industry knowledge
