Job Description
The Transformation and Change team play a critical role in shaping the evolution of BX’s operating model by partnering with business, operations, finance, and technology teams to identify, prioritize, and deliver enterprise‑level improvement opportunities. The team drives harmonized, scalable, and future‑ready solutions that enable growth, efficiency, and resilience across the platform.
The Vice President – Transformation and Change will be a senior leader within BX India, responsible for defining and executing the transformation agenda across Global Finance, leveraging the India CoE framework. This role will drive enterprise‑wide modernization, standardization, and digitization initiatives, working closely with global business leaders, Technology, Finance, and Data teams to redefine the future operating model for BX India. The role requires a strategic mindset, strong execution discipline, and experience leading complex change at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Transformation Leadership
Define and lead multi‑year, enterprise‑wide transformation programs across Global Finance, aligned with BX’s global strategy.
Drive modernization, digitization, and operational scalability across core business and support functions.
Automation & Technology Enablement
Partner with global and regional Technology teams to architect and deliver a connected automation ecosystem, integrating enterprise platforms, low‑code solutions, AI, and advanced analytics.
Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with BX’s technology and risk standards.
Data‑Led Operating Model
Collaborate with Data and Analytics teams to embed a strong data strategy into transformation initiatives.
Leverage automation‑generated data to enable predictive analytics, risk modeling, and improved decision‑making.
India CoE Strategy & Governance
Leverage the India CoE model to drive harmonization, standardization, and reuse of processes and capabilities across businesses.
Establish strong governance, prioritization, and execution frameworks to ensure consistent delivery and measurable outcomes.
Stakeholder & Change Leadership
Act as a senior bridge between business leadership, Technology, Finance, Operations, and Data teams globally.
Lead enterprise change management, ensuring adoption, capability uplift, and cultural alignment with transformation objectives.
Provide clear, executive‑level communication on progress, risks, and outcomes.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Champion a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and data‑driven decision‑making.
Identify and incubate emerging technologies and new ways of working that create sustainable competitive advantage.
Qualifications
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven working group, are highly motivated, intelligent, have sound judgment and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.
Demonstrated success leading large‑scale, enterprise transformation programs within financial services or alternative asset management.
Deep understanding of financial services operating models, including regulatory and risk considerations.
Strong experience with automation, low‑code platforms, AI, RPA, and enterprise integration architectures.
Proven experience embedding data governance, analytics, and predictive insights into business processes.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing and partnering with senior executives and global leadership teams.
High degree of autonomy, sound judgment, and experience operating independently in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Track record of driving organizational change and adoption across complex, matrixed environments.
10+ years of experience in transformation, strategy, operations, or technology‑led change roles within financial services.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, Finance, or a related field
