Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and well-organized Travel & Events Executive to manage travel coordination and corporate event support across India and global locations from Chennai. The role includes employee travel arrangements, event coordination, employee engagement support, vendor management, procurement support, and day-to-day coordination with internal teams and external service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage domestic and international travel bookings for employees, including flight tickets, accommodation, itinerary preparation, airport transfers, cab/local transport, and travel-related changes or escalations.
  • Coordinate sales events, office events, partner events, office celebrations, employee engagement programs, and global event requirements conducted across various locations.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand travel and event needs, plan logistics, timelines, budget requirements, and execution support.
  • Coordinate with hotels, travel agencies, cab providers, event agencies, venues, catering, branding/material vendors, and other service providers.
  • Support vendor empanelment, quotation collection, rate comparison, negotiation, procurement, purchase requests, invoice tracking, and payment follow-ups. Ensure all travel and event arrangements are completed as per company policies, budget guidelines, quality expectations, and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records for travel bookings, event spends, vendor details, invoices, approvals, and related documentation.
  • Provide remote or on-ground coordination support for employees, visitors, partners, and global teams as required.

Required Skills:

  • Candidate should have 2-3 years of relevant experience in corporate travel coordination, event management, vendor management, office administration, employee engagement support, or procurement coordination.
  • Experience in handling both domestic and international travel requirements will be preferred.
  • The person should be energetic, organized, cost-conscious, and confident in coordinating with employees, vendors, partners, and global stakeholders.
  • Good written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong coordination, planning, organizing & follow-up abilities.
  • Vendor management, negotiation and cost-comparison skills.
  • Flexibility to work rotational shifts across different time zones.
