Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems Sector is currently seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This is a fully remote position.
In this role you will be responsible for driving the flow of critical goods and services that keep our programs moving—from sourcing strategic suppliers to negotiating smart deals that cut cost and risk. In this role, you’ll be the connector between internal teams and the supply base, using tools like Lean Six Sigma to improve quality, speed, and efficiency across the entire procurement process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure commodity goods and services from a diverse supplier base.
- Lead RFQs/RFPs and analyze supplier pricing and proposals.
- Partner with Quality to monitor supplier performance, reliability, and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with internal customers to ensure accurate, appropriate specifications.
- Negotiate to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and manage risk.
- Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with laws and company procedures (including import/export).
- Coordinate with logistics/warehouse teams to ensure proper receipt and documentation.
- Review and approve supplier invoices as needed.
- Apply process improvement tools (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) to drive supplier quality and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:
Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Level 2)
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience; or a Master's Degree; or a High School Diploma and a minimum of 6 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, and/or supplier management
- Experience with Excel, and reporting
- Ability to Obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret level Clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet it's business needs (after starting).
Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Level 3)
- Bachelors degree with 5 years of experience working with supply chain management, business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, government procurement OR a Masters degree with 3 years experience working with supply chain management, business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, government procurement. In lieu of degree 9 years of experience working with supply chain management, business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, government procurement.
- Procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have U.S Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or familiarity with purchasing services
- Experience in ERP, MRP
- Active U.S Government Secret Clearance
Primary Level Salary Range: $59,600.00 - $89,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $62,700.00 - $94,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
