Seeking a highly motivated security professional as a COMSEC lead for the Raytheon Special Program environment. The role provides business-level oversight and strategic planning for COMSEC support to the program environment. The selected candidate will establish COMSEC policy, maintain data on the COMSEC footprint across the business, respond to government data calls, ensure compliance with COSMEC-related directives, validate compliance of accounts with COMSEC directives and security procedures (NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705), as they relate to operating in a classified environment for: personnel processing, media control, marking and control of documents / materials, security education, visitor control, and destruction of classified. The role requires close collaboration with government program personnel, Program Managers and Lead Engineers. This position requires strong attention to detail, time management and timely follow-through.
What You Will Do
- Oversee business support and compliance for COMSEC accounts over a large geographical area,
- Lead a small team of COMSEC professionals.,
- Provide on-the-job training to the COMSEC team and other COMSEC users in all aspects of COMSEC accountability, security, compliance, and establish local COMSEC policy.
- Work directly with government representatives, program engineers and government customer representatives to identify the proper application of cryptographic key, validate COMSEC requirements; and support multiple U.S. Government contracts through the gate process with planning, scheduling, and arranging program specific COMSEC support ensuring COMSEC equipment reliability and availability.
- Assist in developing In-Process Accounting Procedures (IPAP), Key Management Plans (KMP), and Bases of Estimates (BOE).
- Oversee security aspects of facility procedures, and work outside of the Security department to resolve complex challenges, enabling cost effective and efficient processes for engineering, production, depot, assembly, and repair; resolve RCAS, GCAR, and CORE efforts.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
- Experience working and maneuvering within the special program environment
- Experience working in Industrial Security, NISPOM, and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, and how COMSEC plays into the success of business.
- Experience with COMSEC compliance doctrine and associated references·
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in strategic planning, risk assessment, and business analysis
- COMSEC training certification
- Experience with support of a COMSEC account to include receipt, custody, safeguarding and destruction of production and/or depot COMSEC material
- Experience with End Cryptographic Unit management and load/fill procedures
- Experience with troubleshooting COMSEC equipment
- Experience in the management of Windows based information systems
- Knowledgeable of legacy COMSEC equipment

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
