We are looking for a Senior Atlassian Developer to design, configure, and optimize CAI's Atlassian platform to support operational excellence and CAI's future growth. This position will be full-time and remote.
What You'll Do
Configure and build Jira spaces, workflows, schemes, and automation flows aligned with CAI design standards and enterprise architecture guidelines
Design and implement JSM spaces, customer portals, queues, and SLA configurations to support service delivery requirements
Participate in requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams, contributing to the translation of operational needs into Atlassian configurations
Build and maintain custom fields, screens, and advanced configurations to extend platform capabilities
Ensure consistent implementation of naming conventions, permission schemes, and governance standards across all Atlassian products
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers on Atlassian best practices, configuration patterns, and troubleshooting techniques
Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
Conduct code reviews and configuration reviews to maintain quality and adherence to standards
Document technical specifications, configuration decisions, and operational procedures in Confluence
Collaborate with CAI's Enterprise Architecture and IT Operations teams to ensure solutions align with broader technology strategy
Support user acceptance testing and iterate on configurations based on stakeholder feedback
Interface with stakeholders to ensure business needs are delivered in accordance with strategic direction, project expectations, and business priority
What You'll Need
Required:
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with Atlassian products in a configuration, development, or administration capacity
Strong expertise in Jira configuration including spaces, workflows, schemes, screens, custom fields, and automation flows
Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Jira Service Management spaces, customer portals, queues, and SLA configurations
Proficiency in Confluence administration, space configuration, and documentation best practices
Ability to participate effectively in requirements discussions and translate business needs into technical solutions
Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred:
Experience with ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud, including Behaviours, listeners, and scripts
Experience with Jira Product Discovery for product management and roadmapping
Experience with Zephyr for test management
Experience configuring third-party Marketplace apps, including Rich Filters, Structure PPM by Tempo, Checklists for Jira, Templating.app, and similar platform extensions
Experience with capacity and resource planning functionality and the Marketplace apps that support it
Minimum of 2 relevant Atlassian certifications such as ACP-620, ACP-610, ACP-120, or similar
Experience in a staffing, professional services, or SLED-focused organization
Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

$120,000 - $140,000 per yearThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role receive paid time off and may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
