About the role

Working with guidance from the Performance Management team, the intern will apply academic knowledge through research, analysis, project coordination, communications, reporting, digital enablement, and process documentation. Responsibilities
  • Support project plans, trackers, milestones, meeting agendas, notes, action items, risks, and dependencies for Performance Management initiatives.
  • Conduct research, organize findings, and help document processes, requirements, decisions, and improvement opportunities.
  • Draft or update communications, presentations, guides, FAQs, knowledge content, and learning materials for team members, people leaders, and HR audiences.
  • Support basic data analysis and reporting by organizing and validating approved data, tracking completion or adoption measures, and preparing clear summaries or visual reports.
  • Assist with Workday, digital, and AI-related initiatives through test-case documentation, user acceptance testing, issue tracking, feedback collection, and resource updates.
  • Coordinate stakeholder reviews, meetings, learning sessions, and other enablement activities across global teams.
  • Handle information responsibly and follow HPE confidentiality, privacy, security, and data-handling requirements.
Required qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution, subject to applicable HPE university-program and hiring-location requirements.
  • Ability to organize work, maintain accurate documentation, and manage commitments and deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and in meetings.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify patterns, and summarize findings.
  • Ability to collaborate with people from different teams, functions, and locations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Interest in learning about Human Resources, Performance Management, digital tools, and global business processes.
Preferred—not required
  • Coursework or project experience in Human Resources, business, organizational psychology, communications, data analytics, project management, information systems, or a related non-technical field.
  • Experience preparing presentations, process documentation, or project trackers through academic, volunteer, or extracurricular work.
  • Familiarity with data visualization, HR systems, user testing, or responsible uses of AI.
  • Interest in employee experience, learning and enablement, process improvement, or global HR programs.
