We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager/Delivery Driver to oversee all warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient storage, distribution, and inventory management of our products. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to optimize processes for maximum productivity and cost-effectiveness.

 

Delivery responsibilities include safely operating a Company vehicle, completing assigned routes, unloading products, obtaining required delivery documentation, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and safety of the vehicle.


Customer service is an equally important part of the position. The employee will interact directly with staff at customer facilities, deliver products to designated areas within those locations, check stock levels when required, and promptly communicate customer or delivery concerns to management. This role serves as a frontline representative of Gentell and is expected to consistently demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to quality service.


Employees must follow all Company safety, infection-control, and customer-facility requirements. Gentell provides appropriate personal protective equipment for employees conducting facility visits.



Requirements

  Warehouse Management Responsibilities 

  • Supervise all phases of warehouse operations including the truck loading process and material handling activities.
  • Arrange receipt of product from Toronto and contract manufacturers.
  • Responsible for replenishment shipments to Wound Care Concepts and Absolute Wound Solutions regional distribution facilities.
  • Responsible for shipments to distributor, hospital, and long-term care customers that purchase products.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the warehouse shift; schedule and assign work to staff.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate employees assigned to warehouse.
  • Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments and shifts.
  • Completes all required management reports and related administrative tasks.
  • Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.
  • Attends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.
  • Ensures compliance with company safety policies.
  • Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
  • Supervise and assist with the unloading of containers as needed.
  • Resolve employee relation issues and conflict that arise among team members and/or other employees.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policies.
  • Will oversee the Pick & Pack associates and ensure all orders are done in a timely manner.

Delivery and Vehicle Responsibilities

  • Operate Company vehicles to deliver Gentell products along established routes.
  • Perform and document required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Ensure that products are properly secured before operating the vehicle.
  • Operate the vehicle safely and comply with all traffic laws and Company policies.
  • Verify that all load-related documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Record delivery, pickup, mileage, fuel, and other required information.
  • Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, product damage, or delivery problems immediately.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and general condition of the assigned vehicle.
  • Complete all required logs, delivery receipts, inspection records, and end-of-shift paperwork.

Customer Service Responsibilities


  • Deliver products and required documentation to customers accurately, courteously, and on time.
  • Transport products to designated areas inside customer facilities when required.
  • Check customer stock levels and communicate replenishment needs when assigned.
  • Build professional working relationships with customer-facility staff.
  • Respond appropriately to customer questions and refer matters outside the position’s authority to management.
  • Promptly communicate customer concerns, inventory issues, mechanical problems, or delivery delays to the appropriate Gentell representative.
  • Represent Gentell professionally during every customer interaction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience in a supervisory role required
  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • Successful completion of job-related background and driving record screening, consistent with applicable law 
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, push, pull, load, and unload items weighing up to 50 pounds 
  • Basic computer literacy and the ability to use electronic delivery or inventory systems
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, multitasking, and time-management abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse and delivery environment
  • Professional and composed demeanor when handling stressful situations
  • High level of personal integrity and a strong work ethic
  • Experience with warehouse receiving, picking, packing, staging, or inventory processes preferred
  • Three years of relevant delivery, warehouse, or customer-service experience preferred
