Position Summary
Twin Disc is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support critical hiring initiatives across multiple business functions. This individual will manage full-cycle recruitment for both professional and hourly manufacturing positions, partnering closely with hiring managers and Human Resources to attract, assess, and secure top talent.
The ideal candidate has experience recruiting for engineering, supply chain, manufacturing operations, human resources, and skilled trades positions, including CNC Machinists. This role requires a recruiter who is proactive, organized, consultative, and comfortable managing a high-volume requisition workload in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from intake meetings through offer acceptance.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and position requirements.
- Recruit for a broad range of positions, including:
- Engineering
- Supply Chain and Procurement
- Operations and Manufacturing Leadership
- Human Resources
- CNC Machinists and other skilled trades
- Develop sourcing strategies using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, community partnerships, and local talent pipelines.
- Conduct candidate screening interviews and evaluate qualifications against role requirements.
- Coordinate interviews and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions.
- Drive recruitment process efficiency while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience
- Ensure recruiting activities align with employment laws and company policies.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent recruiting experience.
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Proven success recruiting for both professional and hourly positions.
- Experience recruiting within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or operational environments.
- Strong sourcing capabilities and experience leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while meeting hiring deadlines.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruitment reporting.
