TITLE: Accounts Receivable Manager
LOCATION: POWDR Corporate Office
STATUS: Salaried, Full -time, Year-round
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday
SUMMARY
As Snowbird's Accounts Receivable Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead a high-performing team, drive process improvements, and influence financial operations across multiple business areas. You'll partner closely with the Controller, play a key role in financial reporting and monthly close activities, lead technology and system integration initiatives, and serve as a trusted accounting resource for HOA boards and audits. This role offers a mix of leadership, strategy, and hands-on problem solving in a dynamic mountain resort environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead a team of 4 to facilitate billing and collections
- Oversee invoicing, payment posting, and collections
- Monitor aging reports and resolves overdue accounts
- Implement process improvements for accuracy and efficiency
- Meet HOA reporting requirements and deadlines
- Own HOA communications and problem-solving
- Supports the HOA audits with the Controller
- Present to the HOA Boards as a professional representative of Snowbird
- Support internal department leaders on billing questions
- Other responsibilities as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- Four-year college degree in accounting or related fields
- Proven experience with accounts receivable and management preferred
- Experience with systems migrations is highly valued
- Ability to lead and coach a team effectively
- 3-5 years of practical accounting experience with demonstrated competence.
- Medium to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Experience with Netsuite, Coupa, and SMS Host a plus.
- Requires the operation of basic office equipment.
- Responsible for protection of assets by reconciling account balances to reflect actual monies paid and received.
- Must be detail oriented with good analytical skills.
- Requires problem solving and initiation of less clearly defined job activities.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Monday – Friday.
- Longer than normal hours occasionally when need arises.
- Hybrid remote; 3 days in-office in Kimball Junction is required each week
WORKING CONDITIONS
- General office environment.
- Direct and frequent contact with employees, co-workers, management, and other departments.
- Direct and occasional contact with professionals, consultants, public, and vendors upon request.
- Indirect and occasional contact with guests.
- Work is subject to frequent interruptions, making continuity and accuracy difficult.
- May experience some stress due to the importance of accuracy in accounting procedures and the variety of departments, personalities and situations that must be dealt with along with regulatory deadlines.
