ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Geelong team. This pivotal role involves managing the financial transactions related to patient accounts, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of billing, and maintaining excellent relationships with patients and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Payment Receipting: Accurately process payments and ensure timely entries.
• Debt Management: Issue reminder statements and follow up on outstanding debtors through follow up emails and phone calls.
• Account Queries: Investigate and resolve any queries related to accounts promptly and professionally.
• Ledger Management: Demonstrated experience in managing a designated ledger end-to-end, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
• Collection Targets: Work diligently to achieve collection targets and contribute to the financial health of the organization.
• Record Retention: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and interactions in line with company policies.
• New Accounts: Assess and manage new patient accounts and claims, ensuring all information is correct and up-to-date.
• Customer Support: Assist customers with account-related inquiries, providing exceptional service.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize Excel and Word efficiently for data management and reporting.
ABOUT YOU 👍
• Experience: Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Officer, preferably in the health industry (highly regarded but not essential).
• Accuracy and Speed: Capable of processing transactions accurately at a high speed.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to avoid errors and ensure accuracy in all tasks.
• Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, handling a steady inflow of work and meeting strict deadlines.
• Organizational Skills: Demonstrated planning, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
