Senior Manager, ASB Reforms Transformation (12 Month Role)

As Senior Manager, ASB Reforms Transformation, you will play a critical role supporting the successful delivery of AML/CTF Reform activities across ASB.
Working closely with the ASB Reforms Lead, you will provide day-to-day coordination, planning, oversight and delivery support across multiple reform workstreams. You will help ensure delivery activities remain aligned to agreed plans, milestones, dependencies and regulatory commitments.
The role requires strong transformation delivery and coordination experience, together with a sound understanding of Financial Crime Compliance and regulatory change. You will work across a broad stakeholder network, supporting planning, dependency management, delivery governance and execution activities within an Agile / PACE delivery environment. You will be highly organised, proactive, comfortable operating in complex environments and able to work independently with minimal day-to-day direction.

The Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) team is accountable for the development, implementation and ongoing leadership of the Group's financial crime compliance framework.
FCC partners with Business Units, Support Units and Financial Crime Operations & Transformation teams to disrupt financial crime, strengthen risk management and ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
FCC leads the Group's approach to managing AML/CTF, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption risks through:

On any given day, you will
Planning, Coordination and Delivery Support
Support the ASB Reforms Lead with the day-to-day coordination, planning and oversight of AML/CTF Reform activities.
Maintain integrated delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and actions across multiple reform workstreams.
Coordinate activities across ASB and CBA stakeholders to support delivery against agreed implementation timelines and regulatory commitments.
Work closely with FCC, Risk, Delivery, Technology and business stakeholders to ensure work remains aligned and dependencies are actively managed.
Track and monitor delivery progress using ADO, Jira and Agile delivery practices.
Support planning activities, delivery sequencing, implementation readiness and execution of key reform initiatives.
Assist with the coordination of policy, process, controls, data, technology and operational activities required to support reform delivery.
Support change and implementation planning activities to ensure business impacts, readiness activities, communications, training and key dependencies are appropriately identified and considered within delivery plans.
Work with stakeholders to coordinate implementation and change activities, helping ensure business areas are prepared for key reform milestones and outcomes.
Delivery Governance and Reporting
Maintain delivery artefacts including action logs, RAID items, dependency registers and implementation plans.
Support backlog management, planning activities and coordination of cross-functional delivery dependencies.
Prepare delivery updates, governance materials, presentations and stakeholder reporting.
Monitor delivery performance against plans, identifying and escalating risks, issues and potential impacts to timelines.
Support implementation readiness activities and tracking of key deliverables across the reform portfolio.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
Build effective working relationships across FCC, Risk, Operations, Technology, Delivery and Business teams.
Coordinate workshops, working groups and stakeholder forums to support delivery outcomes.
Support stakeholder communications and engagement activities across the reform portfolio.
Work collaboratively across a broad range of stakeholders to maintain momentum and support successful delivery outcomes.
We're interested in hearing from people who have
Demonstrated experience supporting delivery of complex regulatory, compliance, risk or transformation programs within financial services.
Strong Financial Crime Compliance experience, regulatory change or transformation initiatives.
Proven experience coordinating delivery within Agile, transformation or regulatory change environments.
Strong working knowledge of ADO, Jira, delivery backlogs, dependency management and Agile delivery practices.
Experience coordinating activities across multiple workstreams with significant dependencies and stakeholder groups.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across business, risk, operations and technology teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of governance reporting, presentations and stakeholder communications.
Ability to work independently, take initiative and operate effectively with limited direction.
Comfortable working in a complex and evolving environment with competing priorities and tight timeframes.
A collaborative, open and constructive approach to working with others.
Sound judgement and the ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity and nuanced regulatory requirements.
An appreciation of change management principles and the ability to incorporate change considerations into delivery planning and execution activities.
