Overview

The goal of the Kueh lab’s research is to elucidate the molecular circuits underlying immune cell development and function, and to harness this understanding to engineer immune cells as next-generation living therapies. This position will support the lab’s mission in two ways. 1) It will involve performing day-to-day lab management operations essential for supporting this research, including mouse colony maintenance, ordering, and inventory management. 2) It will involve execution of experiments including mouse experiments, in vitro assays, bulk and single-cell transcriptomic sequencing, and epigenomic profiling. The selected candidate will join a dynamic and exciting research team, in a position that will allow the candidate to build their laboratory and scientific skills. Essential duties include harvest, isolation, and culture of primary immune cells from mice and humans; in vitro differentiation assays; flow cytometry; single-cell transcriptomics and chromatin accessibility assays; recombinant DNA cloning; retroviral packaging and transduction; and mouse colony management.
