About you and this role
DOW has an opportunity for Information Technology Analyst you will design, develop, and support solutions and processes to meet business needs and requirements.
As part of these high-performing projects, you will be challenged with designing, developing, and supporting applications to achieve customer satisfaction at the speed of business. You will work to apply your knowledge to assist senior team members on a diverse range of innovative, high-value projects with the opportunity to grow your career.
In this role, you will require conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures as well as having general business knowledge developed through education or prior experience related to your discipline and functional area.
Responsibilities
- Support and enhance transportation management solutions including Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), SAP Logistics, shipment visibility platforms, and related integrations.
- Support and confirm integration works between SAP/OTM/FourKites/Veson/etc.
- Help ensure that functional and technical designs meet business requirements, conform to Dow architecture standards, and optimize productivity and long-term product/system vision
- Work with Senior Solution Manager and Solution Manager and cross functional teams in the project planning process.
- Provide expert level support to the teams that provide run-the-business support for Integrated Supply Chain team.
- Participate in timely implementations of strategic solutions.
- Responsibility for delivering solutions in an independent manner.
- Ability to support overall project phases.
- Provide on-call coverage and provide subject matter expertise that may be required 24x7 by the run-the-business teams.
- Limited off hours work to support upgrades and implementations as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP.
- Knowledge and experience with Integrated Supply Chain processes and technologies.
- Knowledge and experience with the logistics module in SAP.
- Knowledge and experience with Oracle Transportation Management application.
Your Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Build, test, and implement application objects.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize and manage workload.
- Ability to lead and resolve complex problem situations and technical issues.
- Ability to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams without compromising the existing service levels and customer satisfaction rate.
