Summary
Our client is seeking Designers to support engineering and construction teams by preparing detailed construction drawings and design documentation for commercial projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in industry-standard drafting software, and enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare construction drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Develop layouts and detailed design documents.
- Revise drawings based on engineering and client feedback.
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and design teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Assist with design development from concept through construction.
- Maintain organized project documentation and drawing revisions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of drafting or design experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
