The Public Affairs & Patient Advocacy Vaccines Lead supports the development and execution of Public Affairs & Patient Advocacy strategies, engages key stakeholders, and contributes to initiatives that improve awareness, access, and health outcomes. This role builds foundational capabilities in stakeholder engagement, execution excellence, and data-informed decision-making — and serves as the pipeline for future strategic ownership.

Main Responsibilities
Strategy Execution & Program Support
Contribute to the development and implementation of stakeholder engagement plans, translating strategic direction into operational activities
Deliver initiatives that improve disease awareness, vaccine confidence, and access, with clear accountability for assigned workstreams
Track, analyze, and report progress against defined objectives and KPIs, surfacing insights that inform strategy refinement
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain productive relationships with patient advocacy groups, medical societies, and public health organizations within an assigned portfolio
Execute engagement activities and collaborative programs, ensuring consistent follow-through and relationship continuity
Gather, synthesize, and communicate stakeholder insights internally to inform strategic decisions
Represent Sanofi in select external meetings and forums, operating within established guidelines and escalating issues appropriately
Digital & Data Support
Contribute to digitally-enabled engagement efforts including social listening, digital campaigns, and online community engagement
Support collection, analysis, and reporting of program data to evaluate effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
Develop familiarity with AI-powered tools and analytics platforms to build digital advocacy capabilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with internal teams across policy, communications, medical, and market access to support aligned, coordinated execution
Share stakeholder perspectives and emerging trends to enrich cross-functional planning
Support coordination of integrated stakeholder engagement efforts, ensuring activities are sequenced and connected across functions
Operational Excellence & Compliance
Ensure all activities adhere to corporate, legal, and regulatory standards with a high degree of accuracy and accountability
Apply strong project management skills to manage deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder communications
Identify and propose process improvements that increase efficiency and program quality
About You
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS in public health, scientific, policy, or related field; advanced degree preferred
5–7 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or public health sectors, of which 2+ years should be in Public Affairs, Patient Advocacy, or related roles
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting stakeholder engagement initiatives in a healthcare or public health context
Exposure to digital health tools or digital engagement strategies
Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed environments
Vaccines or public health experience preferred

The salary range for this position is:
$178,500.00 - $257,833.33All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
