Job Description
As a Armed Security Officer Certified Patrol Driver in Waxahachie, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving role combines customer service, clear communication, and integrity while supporting a welcoming environment. - Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
- Document incidents, observations, patrol activity, and other required information accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
