Management Level:
P3Tyson Foods is looking for a Planogram Analyst to join our Category Leadership team and help shape the future of our partnership with Target.
In this role, you'll be the dedicated specialist who translates Target’s high-level strategy into localized data-driven planograms and shelf design. This role supports multiple categories under the direction of the Category Manager. Day-to-day responsibilities require strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities, clear communication with internal and external teams, and a consistent commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
The Planogram Analyst role is the primary entry point into the Category Management organization. Analysts build technical expertise in space planning tools, modular execution processes, and assortment analytics, and gain cross-functional exposure through Category Advisor development opportunities in reporting, analytics, and insights.
Role responsibilities:
- Build and maintain planograms across multiple categories, using approved assortment, clustering, and fixture assumptions
- Develop multiple modular versions to support merchant decisions and store cluster variability
- Validate all planograms against Target’s guidelines and proofing protocols
- Support assortment analytics: SKU productivity, facing optimization, holding power, and duplication analysis
- Maintain modular data systems, including store/item attribution, clustering data, and DC realignments
- Support end-to-end modular execution, tracking timelines and flagging risks proactively
- Participate in Buyer and Space/Presentation/Transition team meetings alongside Category Manager
- Analyze category, competitive, and market trends to guide assortment and space strategy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Retail, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in Category Management, Analytics, Retail, or CPG
- Strong proficiency in JDA, Microsoft Excel; experience with broader Microsoft Office Suite
- High attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including comfort in professional settings
- Limited travel may be required
