Senior Site Safety Supervisor

Job Description

Overview         

We are seeking a Senior Site Safety Supervisor with a mandatory Yellow Book certification and at least 5 years of HSE experience in industrial projects. The role is based in Penang and involves overseeing site safety operations, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, managing contractor safety performance, and supporting documentation and reporting activities. Experience in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, food & beverage, or manufacturing environments is highly preferred, with immediate availability being an advantage.

Your role

• Provide day-to-day site HSE supervision (approximately 80% site-based, 20% documentation)
• Conduct safety inspections and monitor compliance with site HSE requirements
• Support CDM implementation, review, and on site safety requirements.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, incident records, and statutory documentation
• Review construction work packs, method statements, and safety related submissions
• Promote safe work practices and support safety awareness initiatives
• Ensure compliance with client, company, and regulatory HSE requirements

About you

• 8-10 years of experience in industrial construction projects
• Strong construction and site execution background
• Experience in pharmaceutical, semiconductor, cleanroom or industrial facilities
• Mechanical and CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) project and site coordination experience preferred
• To be based in Penang.
• Immediate report duty is preferred.
