The Opportunity
The Strategic Account Manager orchestrates and executes the health system strategy and expanding patient access by forming partnerships across key stakeholders within the regional Independent Delivery Networks (IDNs), health systems and academic institutions to support the adoption of Abbott’s Cancer Diagnostics solutions to enhance clinical decision making and improve the system of care. This role will work collaboratively with other market stakeholders and internal teams to shape and execute strategic plans in liaison with assigned IDNs to build the foundation for improved patient outcomes.
This position is field based. The territory includes Phoenix, Tucson, and the surrounding areas.
What You'll Work On
Analyzed integrated delivery networks (IDNs), healthcare ecosystems, and patient care pathways to identify opportunities that improved clinical decision-making, patient access, and health outcomes while supporting adoption of current and future diagnostic solutions.
Developed and executed strategic account and business plans for health systems, partnering with physicians, administrators, and key stakeholders to optimize workflows, protocols, and systems of care.
Built and maintained influential relationships with healthcare leaders, clinical stakeholders, and policy makers to uncover unmet needs, drive advocacy, and support organizational objectives.
Collaborated cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other internal partners to implement health system strategies, align resources, and achieve business goals.
Leveraged market intelligence, healthcare data, and performance metrics to identify opportunities, measure results, adapt strategies, and communicate actionable insights across the organization.
Ensured execution of business activities with the highest standards of ethics, compliance, quality, and professionalism while effectively managing multiple priorities, delivering impactful presentations, and fostering collaboration.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, Science, or any other related field.
6+ years of sales and/or marketing experience in the healthcare space, such as the diagnostic, surgical or pharmaceutical.
2+ years of experience in navigating access/selling IDNs, health systems, or academic institutions in the sales and/or marketing field.
Possession of a valid driver’s license; no suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid, etc. allowed.
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

The base pay for this position is
$99,300.00 – $198,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
